Yii Bolierplate

Hi wondering if anyone can help.

I downloaded clevertech's yii bolierplate the other day and wondering if you need to do anything to install it??

If not when I navigate to the backend/site I get an error saying 'class yii not found'. Do I need to do anything it include yii?
